On-chain metrics vs. Macro Overlay for BTC
I'm still trying to get my head around how some of you reconcile seemingly conflicting signals. For instance, if on-chain data looks bullish – accumulation strong, HODL waves increasing – but then macro indicators start to flash yellow, maybe DXY strengthening, or some major equity market wobbles. Do you lean more heavily on one type of analysis over the other for $BTC, or is there a systematic way you weight these conflicting views to manage position sizing or entry confidence?
I generally prioritize macro, as on-chain strength can be easily invalidated by broader market contagion or a flight to safety that boosts DXY. On-chain provides good context, but macro often dictates the overall trend.
