Thoughts on BTC amid CAD strength

Watching the CAD strengthen today, $CADUSD at 0.71365, it makes me think about capital flows and general risk sentiment across the board. While it's not a direct correlation, a stronger CAD can sometimes indicate a broader appetite for risk-on assets in some parts of the market, potentially even filtering into how participants view Bitcoin. It's subtle, but these macro-currency movements often signal shifts in sentiment that can eventually catch up to crypto, albeit with a lag.

My focus remains on whether $BTC can hold its current range in the face of these broader macro currents. The correlation might not be immediate, but I'm looking for sustained strength in traditional risk assets as a potential precursor for continued stability, or even upside, in crypto. The on-chain metrics still suggest a lot of long-term holders are well-positioned, but any significant shift in rate hike expectations or broader liquidity could change that picture quickly.

That's an interesting angle to consider. I hadn't thought about CAD strength in relation to BTC sentiment, but it makes sense that broader risk-on shifts in one area could gently ripple into others, even if indirectly.
