Fed comments and their impact on BTC's recent chop

Been watching $BTC's range-bound action the past few days and it's got me thinking about the Fed's latest hawkish comments, especially with regard to the inflation outlook. While they didn't explicitly say anything new, the persistent tone on higher-for-longer rates seems to be creating some genuine hesitation, not just in equities but noticeably in crypto too. We saw a decent dip shortly after, then a bounce, but volume feels thinner on these upticks. It makes me question if the current consolidation is just pre-CPI noise or if the market is genuinely repricing the liquidity landscape for assets like Bitcoin. I'm keeping a close eye on the CPI print next week to see if we get a clearer direction, particularly how it affects the dollar and yields, as those seem to be the primary drivers of this recent chop.

It's hard to tell if the Fed's rhetoric is the primary driver or if BTC was due for a cooling off period anyway. There's usually a confluence of factors.
