On-chain and macro signals for BTC amidst tightening regulatory landscape

Been following the on-chain metrics for $BTC pretty closely lately, specifically looking at realized cap and SOPR as potential indicators. The recent macro sentiment, particularly with interest rate discussions and broader liquidity concerns, seems to be adding another layer of complexity to interpreting these on-chain signals. It feels like we're in a period where traditional macro factors are intersecting with crypto-native indicators in ways that demand more nuanced analysis.

Separately, I've been thinking about the increasing regulatory scrutiny on digital asset platforms. How are people here thinking about the interplay between robust KYC/AML protocols and the overall market sentiment for $BTC? Does a clearer regulatory framework, even a tighter one, ultimately provide a foundation for more institutional adoption, or does it stifle organic growth in the short to medium term?

While on-chain data offers some insights, focusing too heavily on SOPR and realized cap without a strong understanding of current macro dynamics is a mistake. Regulatory headwinds could easily override some of those signals, especially for retail.
