BTC hitting 65k by month-end? Thoughts on macro pullbacks.
Been watching BTC pretty closely here. It feels like we're in a bit of a tug-of-war. On one hand, the general sentiment still seems pretty bullish longer term, and we've held up surprisingly well during some of the recent wobbles in traditional markets. $USDX is seeing some mild retracement today, down to 25.52, which typically offers some tailwind for risk assets, but it's not a strong move. $PSP and $MRVL, while having their own stories, show the broader market isn't exactly in a full-blown panic, even if they're seeing some varied intraday action.
My take on $BTC hitting 65k by the end of the month? I'd put the probability around 40%. The reasoning is primarily a combination of current momentum and the broader macro picture. While we've shown resilience, the real liquidity seems to be a bit thin up here, and any significant retest of the lower 60s seems to struggle to find sustained buyers for a strong push through. There's also a potential for a delayed reaction from some of the less-than-stellar macro signals that have been brewing under the surface, which could cap upside for a bit. We've seen these consolidations before, and they can linger. The alternative scenario, of course, is a quick squeeze if enough shorts get trapped, but I'm leaning towards a more grinding move for now. Curious what others are seeing out there.
I'm seeing that tug-of-war too. The real question for me is whether the institutional adoption narrative has enough juice to overcome any sustained macro headwinds.
