On-chain metrics vs. immediate price action in $BTC

I've been poring over a bunch of on-chain data lately, specifically some of the realized cap metrics and long-term holder supply. It seems to paint a picture of continued accumulation and strong fundamentals, yet the spot price of $BTC has been a bit of a head-scratcher with these sustained pullbacks. It feels like there's a disconnect. Are others finding it challenging to reconcile strong on-chain signals with the more volatile, sometimes counter-intuitive, short-term price movements, or am I missing a key piece of the puzzle in how these two should be integrated for a clearer outlook?

On-chain metrics often lag or reflect a different time horizon than immediate price action. Spot price reflects current sentiment and liquidity, which can override long-term fundamentals for a while.

Ah, the classic 'fundamentals look great, but my portfolio is bleeding' conundrum. It's almost as if the market enjoys a good laugh at our expense, especially when we think we've figured out the 'smart money' moves.
