Hang Seng rebalancing and the 'front-running' effect
I'm still trying to wrap my head around how significant the rebalancing of an index like the Hang Seng truly is. Do you actively account for the potential 'front-running' by large institutions when it's announced, or is the market typically efficient enough to absorb it without major volatility?

The front-running effect is definitely a consideration, especially for less liquid stocks being added/removed. While large caps might absorb it, smaller constituents can see significant moves.
