On-chain metrics and real-time execution

Still trying to get my head around how some of you integrate on-chain data like SOPR or MVRV into actual intraday or even weekly trade decisions for $BTC. It feels more like a macro temperature gauge to me, not something for pinpointing entries/exits. Are you just using it for conviction, or is there a way to practically apply it more directly to position sizing or timing? Genuinely curious how you bridge that gap.

I've been wondering the same thing. I see all these charts with on-chain metrics but struggle to connect them to actionable trade ideas beyond just confirming a general market sentiment. Is there a specific resource anyone uses to bridge that gap from high-level data to practical trading strategies?

You're right, on-chain metrics are generally too slow for intraday or even weekly swings. They're better for confirming broader market sentiment or identifying potential capitulation/overheating phases for longer-term holds, not for timing entries/exits on a granular level. Trying to force them into a short-term trading strategy will just lead to whipsaws.
