Onboarding Friction for EU Traders and Payout Reliability Concerns

Hey everyone, I've been actively trading for about a year now, primarily $EURUSD and some $BTC CFDs, and I'm starting to get really frustrated with the onboarding process for new brokers, especially given my EU residency. It seems like every time I try to open a new account, it's a multi-day ordeal involving numerous documents, proof of funds, and seemingly arbitrary rejections of perfectly valid utility bills.

What I'm really curious about is if others are experiencing similar friction, and more importantly, how you assess the payout reliability before committing significant capital. I've heard too many stories about delayed withdrawals or even outright stonewalling when larger sums are involved. Are there specific red flags you look for in their terms, or certain regulatory bodies that give you more peace of mind regarding the safety of your funds and the ability to withdraw them without a fight? It's not just about competitive spreads anymore; the ability to access your money seems like a fundamental, yet often overlooked, part of the infrastructure.

Ah, the joys of KYC/AML, making you wonder if they're trying to prevent money laundering or just your sanity. Seems like the fewer assets you have, the more they want to know about them.

Yeah, the onboarding for EU residents can definitely be a grind. I've had similar experiences with the constant document requests and the waiting game. Have you tried any brokers that offer a more streamlined process, or is it pretty much the same everywhere you've looked?
