Onboarding Friction for High-Volume FX and Crypto Flow

asked by u/liam_smith · 23d · 1 answers

We're scaling up our FX and crypto brokerage operations and are consistently hitting a wall with onboarding new prime brokers and liquidity providers. The KYB process for entities dealing with significant transaction volumes, especially across multiple jurisdictions, feels incredibly archaic and slow. It's a massive drag on our ability to expand our offering and secure better rates. Has anyone found a sweet spot or best practices for expediting this, particularly when dealing with non-bank LPs, without compromising due diligence?

Completely agree, it's a bottleneck for growth. We've found that having all our ducks in a row with pre-audited financials and a clear, concise operational overview helps, but it still often feels like pulling teeth with some providers.
