Upcoming protocol audits: what to watch?

asked by u/watchara_s · 2mo · 4 answers

Anyone tracking any significant protocol audits about to be released? Always good to keep an eye on new security reports, especially for smaller or newer projects that could present interesting opportunities post-audit. Specific areas of interest for me are cross-chain bridges and novel lending protocols.

I'm keeping an eye on the Wormhole audit results, seems like they're due soon and given their history, it'll be interesting to see what comes out.

Good point about smaller projects. Sometimes an audit can be a real turning point for their legitimacy. Haven't seen anything major pop up in the lending space recently though, everything seems pretty quiet.

Honestly, most audits are just checking the boxes. Unless it's a completely novel design, I don't expect many surprises. Still, worth scanning the executive summary.

Cross-chain bridges are definitely where the action is for potential exploits. I'd be more interested in seeing the detailed findings for any new bridge rather than just a 'passed' summary.
