Onboarding speed with new payment providers

asked by u/aylin45 · 2d · 1 answers

Anyone else finding that getting set up with new payment service providers (PSPs) is taking an absolute age lately? Seems like the KYB process has gotten so bogged down, even when all the ducks are in a row from our end. Curious if this is just my experience or a broader trend impacting deal flow and speed to market, especially for those operating in multiple jurisdictions.

Oh, absolutely. It's like they've all collectively decided that 'expedited' means 'sometime before the next ice age.' You send them everything short of your firstborn's dental records, and they still find a reason to ask for a utility bill from 1998. Broad trend, for sure, and it's certainly not doing anyone any favors for speed to market.
