EURCAD: BOC comments starting to bite?

Watching $EURCAD closely today. BOC's general tone lately, leaning dovish-ish with some concern about growth, seems to be finally translating into a bit of weakness for the CAD. We're seeing it today around 1.6042. Not a massive move, but the consistent pressure is notable. If the sentiment around the Bank of Canada holds, particularly with any further softening in their language or incoming data that supports a slower economy, I think we could see this pair push higher. My watchlist has an alert set for a sustained break above 1.6050, looking for follow-through. Still early days, but the narrative is starting to crystallize.

Definitely watching EURCAD too. I agree the BOC tone has been noticeably softer, and it feels like the market is finally catching up to that. Curious to see if 1.6042 holds or if we push through.

I'm seeing similar pressure on CAD crosses, not just EURCAD. The market seems to be front-running potential cuts, but I wonder how much more the BOC can credibly soften their tone before risking inflation acceleration.
