For those of you at smaller, remote-first fintechs, how are you practically handling AML compliance without a dedicated, massive team? Seems like a huge lift to scale.

We're using a mix of automation for transaction monitoring and a few fractional compliance consultants for the higher-level policy and SAR filings. It's not cheap, but cheaper than a full-time team.
