Agree on low expectations pre-NY. It's often a waiting game until then. Personally, I'm waiting for the CPI data later in the week before making any big moves.

GBPUSD at that level is interesting. I've been seeing some resistance building there, so a reversal wouldn't surprise me. Might be worth watching for a double top.
