最近の雇用統計に対するCADの反応についての考察

カナダからの最近の相反する雇用シグナルにもかかわらず、$CADUSDが$0.7178で比較的堅調に推移しているのは興味深い。特に$CAD自体が95.879付近で横ばいであるため、もう少しボラティリティがあってもおかしくなかっただろう。市場はこれらの数字をまだ明確な確信なしに消化しているようで、BOCが現在のスタンスを維持するという根底にある期待があるのではないかと疑問に思う。現時点では、Kalshi契約に飛びつくような強い方向性のある触媒は見当たらない。引き続き注視していく。

I'm not sure why you'd expect major volatility on conflicting signals. Often that just means a wash, and the market waits for clearer direction. BOC has been pretty consistent.

I'm with you on the lack of volatility. Perhaps the market is waiting for the next CPI print before making a move, which could give a clearer picture for the BOC.
