(English)

It's a good point about disentangling the drivers. While tourism recovery is definitely a factor for THB, I wonder how much of the USD weakness is also playing a role, especially with the recent dovish Fed comments.

That's a good point about differentiating between tourism-driven baht strength and broader USD weakness. I'm curious if anyone has seen recent official projections for Q3/Q4 tourism arrivals that might support a sustained move lower in USDTHB, or if this is still largely speculative.

It's a good question how much of that move is tourism-driven versus broader USD weakness. I'm inclined to think it's a mix, but the sustained tourism recovery could certainly provide a more solid floor for the baht going forward if the numbers hold up.

While tourism recovery could eventually support the baht, a 0.24% move on the day is barely a blip. I wouldn't read too much into that specific movement as a direct reflection of long-term tourism forecasts.
