Completely agree. I've found the 'fade the initial move' strategy can work sometimes, but it requires precise timing and still has significant risk. Waiting for the dust to settle often prevents unnecessary losses.

That's a tough lesson to learn! I've been reading about NFP and how volatile it can be. Do you usually wait for the next candle to close after the announcement, or do you have another strategy for when you re-enter?
