This is a really helpful clarification! So, if I buy a 'No' contract, am I essentially selling the 'Yes' contract? Or is it more distinct than that in terms of how the payouts work?

That's a good way to put it. It really flips the script for how you think about market movements, and I've found it super useful for hedging some of my more traditional crypto long positions.
