We've seen similar issues. Lead times often get quoted as 2-4 weeks, but real-world integration for proper API access can easily stretch to 2-3 months, even with everything in order. The internal bureaucracy is usually the bottleneck, not the tech.

It's almost as if 'accelerated onboarding for preferred partners' means 'we'll get to you after we finish our second coffee break and maybe check if the intern remembered to file your paperwork under 'P' for 'Priority'... eventually.'

It often feels like the API team is a separate entity from the sales team, leading to disjointed communication and slower integration.
