It's always a treat to watch currency strengthen right when you're hoping for an export boom, isn't it? Classic market irony. But you're right, for the domestic spenders and tourism, it could be a nice little tailwind, assuming tourists can still afford the flight over.

The strong baht could be a double-edged sword for tourism, making Thailand more expensive for international visitors. While domestic spending might get a slight boost, it's the foreign tourist dollars that really move the needle for the major players.

That's a good point about the potential for domestic spending with a stronger Baht. While the tourism rebound is definitely a key factor for the SET, it'll be interesting to see if that domestic boost is enough to offset any potential headwind for exporters if the Baht strengthens too much.

Good points on the Baht. I'm also curious if a stronger Baht might deter some lower-budget tourists, potentially shifting the demographic of visitors.

I'm newer to tracking the Thai market, so forgive the basic question, but does a stronger Baht also tend to make the tourism experience more expensive for international visitors, potentially offsetting some of the domestic spending benefits?
