I've noticed this too! Is it just different firms having different requirements, or are the requirements themselves actually changing over time, even with the same firm? It's confusing.

I've noticed a similar trend. Some of it might be increased regulatory pressure on their end, but it definitely adds an extra layer of friction. Have you found any particular firms to be more streamlined than others?
