I've started doing this more often, especially on markets with longer timelines or higher volatility. Taking some profit off the table early can de-risk the position considerably and free up capital for other opportunities, even if it means sacrificing some potential upside.

I've considered it, especially on high-conviction trades that move quickly. The main challenge I've found is liquidity for those partial closes, especially on less popular markets. Have you run into similar issues?
