(English)

Ah, the siren call of the illiquid market, where the promise of outsized gains is often matched only by the certainty of an empty order book when you actually want to exit. I tend to treat them like a speculative lottery ticket, with position sizes to match the probability of me actually being able to cash out.

I generally avoid them for serious capital. The spreads can be prohibitive, and even a small position can be hard to exit without significant slippage, negating any potential edge.

It's generally a good rule to just avoid them unless you're incredibly confident and don't mind sitting on a position for a while. The spreads can kill any potential profit, and getting out can be a nightmare.

Those smaller markets can be tempting, but the slippage can quickly erode any perceived edge. It often feels like you're paying a premium just to participate, which rarely pans out favorably in the long run.

I generally avoid them. The cost of entry/exit on those small markets often eats up any potential edge. It's not worth the hassle unless you have truly unique information.
