I wonder if the muted reaction is also partly due to the ongoing concerns about global economic growth. Even with extended cuts and potential summer demand, a significant slowdown could easily offset some of that bullishness.

I think the muted reaction stems from the 'summer demand' being largely priced in already, plus the underlying concerns about global economic slowdowns in other regions. It's tough for price to break out when the market's weighing two big, opposing forces.

I'm with you on the muted reaction. It feels like a lot of the 'strong summer demand' might already be priced in, or perhaps there's a good amount of skepticism about just how much that demand will move the needle given the broader economic picture.
