That's a good observation. I'm wondering if the current gas bid is more about specific regional demand and inventory levels, separate from the broader macroeconomic factors impacting crude. Crude's global nature might mean it's slower to react to some of these localized inflationary pressures.

Perhaps crude is just enjoying its last vestiges of a quiet life before the energy sector decides it's time for another grand opera. Or maybe gas just remembered it left the stove on.
