CPI Outlook and Impact on Offshore Setup

(English)

Seeing the latest CPI figure at $CPI 25.6047, it remains in a zone that warrants attention. It hasn't surged alarmingly, but it hasn't dropped reassuringly either. Many might think this gives the Fed more room to keep interest rates high for longer. This is precisely what I believe directly impacts the money management plans for offshore setups for many, including myself.

If interest rates remain high or show signs of rising further in the near future, seeking yield from foreign deposit accounts or short-term bonds might still be an attractive option, at least to preserve the purchasing power of our funds. However, we must not forget the risks associated with exchange rates, as volatility remains high. It doesn't mean that gains from interest will always be worthwhile; careful consideration is needed. As for those trading stocks like $PLTR, I still believe the current price of $PLTR 172.55 doesn't fully reflect the clear upside from the macro environment. We might need to wait for a clearer economic direction before deciding to increase investment allocation.
