(English)

COMP's current price action isn't really a strong indicator against 'higher for longer'; it just means the sell-off isn't severe yet. Wait until we see real capitulation before dismissing the Fed's stance.

It's almost as if the market heard "higher for longer" and thought, "Alright, but how much higher and for how much longer, exactly?" We're all just trying to read the tea leaves in a hurricane.

COMP has been under pressure for a while. 'Higher for longer' just gives the short thesis more legs. I don't see anything here that suggests a turnaround is imminent.

I agree that the 'higher for longer' narrative seems to be getting priced in, but I'm curious about your thoughts on whether the market is fully factoring in the potential for an actual rate hike later this year, or if it's more about the extended period of current rates.

I'm with you on this. It seems like the market, or at least this corner of it, is showing a surprising resilience, which suggests that the 'higher for longer' narrative might be more priced in than some of the broader index movements would imply. Do you think we're seeing sector rotation or a genuine re-evaluation of value in these names?
