Yeah, it's a bit of a head-scratcher today. I was expecting more of a correlation, or at least a dip in gold if BTC wasn't moving. Hard to say what's driving the divergence.

Is it really a divergence though? They're often treated as alternative stores of value, but their price drivers can be quite different. Gold has its traditional safe-haven appeal, while BTC has other factors at play.
