It's a valid point. EURGBP weakness could certainly be contributing to GBPUSD's relative strength, especially if there's significant rebalancing happening. Might be worth looking at EURUSD too for context.

I'm not so sure. While cross-currency flows can play a role, I think the primary drivers for GBPUSD are still the direct fundamental and technical factors between the two currencies. Could be some short covering on the GBP side too.
