Interesting! I've seen these pop up, but hadn't really given them a name or thought about them as a distinct pattern. Do you mostly use them as a continuation signal, or more for potential reversals depending on where they form?
While it signals indecision, the subsequent breakout can be notoriously unreliable without further confirmation. Many false signals tend to occur.
