(English)

That's a classic trap, isn't it? Even the most compelling fundamental case can unravel quickly if you can't get in or out efficiently. It really highlights how crucial market structure and liquidity are, especially in EM, often outweighing pure directional conviction.

That's a classic setup for less liquid pairs, where the 'sure thing' fundamentals get overwhelmed by the inability to actually execute or exit at anticipated prices. I've been there myself, thinking I had a brilliant read, only to get stuck. What kind of impact did the lack of liquidity have on your eventual exit, if you don't mind sharing?

Ah, the siren song of a 'sure thing' in illiquid markets. It's almost as if the market gods enjoy reminding us that a perfect thesis on paper often translates to 'perfectly stuck' in reality.

It's a classic tale in EM. The fundamentals can look impeccable, but if the market isn't there to absorb your positions, the 'sure thing' can turn into a painful lesson on execution risk. What were your typical position sizes in that less liquid pair compared to your usual EM equity trades?
