I agree, the "1% rule" is a good starting point, but context is everything. Are you also factoring in things like account size growth/drawdown when you adjust your position sizing?

I think many beginners get stuck on the '1% rule' without considering how much that 1% actually means in terms of the underlying asset's volatility and the specific trade setup. It's not just about the percentage, but about the dollar value at risk relative to your conviction and the market's current behavior.
