SET: Overview after international factors stabilize, but domestic factors still pending

Được dịch tự động từ bản gốc · Đọc bản gốc (English)

Hello everyone. After a period of significant volatility in global stock markets due to various factors, especially in key trading partners, it now seems that many things are starting to improve. For example, the $EURGBP currency pair gradually climbing to 0.85196 indicates a returning confidence in the Eurozone economy. Meanwhile, $USDTRY remaining strong around 46.9861 reflects the ongoing challenges faced by the Turkish economy.

Turning back to our own SET, I believe that in the short term, we still need to focus primarily on domestic factors. Various government policies continue to play a crucial role in driving the market, especially regarding infrastructure investment and economic stimulus. I still see opportunities for long-term investment, but for short-term traders, selecting individual stocks with strong fundamentals and unique stories would likely be safer than chasing trends. Focus on stocks with consistent profit growth and good management. Especially during this period when the market is quite fragile, I think caution is the most important thing.

It's a good point about the external factors settling down. I'm wondering if the domestic political landscape and upcoming election uncertainties are the main hurdles keeping SET in a holding pattern, or if there are other fundamental economic issues at play domestically.

Agree the external picture is stabilizing somewhat, but focusing on EURGBP and USDTRY specifically feels like a very narrow lens for global market confidence. Many other factors are at play, especially when considering the SET's domestic challenges.

Interesting points on the international front. It's true that the global picture seems to be settling down a bit, which should ideally provide some tailwind for local markets. However, the domestic uncertainties you mentioned for SET are definitely the bigger unknown right now and could easily overshadow any external improvements.

While external factors might appear to be settling, it's hard to ignore the persistent local uncertainties. The domestic picture still feels quite unresolved, which could continue to temper any real upward momentum.

While international factors might be stabilizing, domestic political and economic uncertainties in Thailand still seem like the bigger hurdle for SET right now. It's difficult to see a sustained rally without clearer signals on that front.
