SET: Sideways, Going Nowhere with New CPI Figures

The Thai stock market today seems to be stuck in the same old range again. Anyone hoping that the latest $CPI figure of 25.6047 (-0.02%) would ignite the market will likely be disappointed. Candlesticks are still trading in a narrow range around $Y 847.79, as we've seen for several days now. From an economic fundamental perspective, there are no clear positive factors to push the market much further. Personally, I'm still waiting for a clearer direction before adding more positions. Or if anyone has a different view, feel free to share.

Yeah, CPI print was a bit of a non-event for SET. Seems like everyone's still in wait-and-see mode, not much conviction either way.

CPI numbers are rarely a direct market mover in isolation unless they're way outside expectations. The range-bound trading suggests underlying uncertainty, and waiting for clearer catalysts seems like the prudent move right now.
