Agreed, it's a moving target. Many providers seem to be over-complying out of an abundance of caution, especially after some high-profile enforcement actions. It makes onboarding a drag, even for entities that are fully licensed and compliant.

I've noticed a similar trend. While regulators are pushing for more clarity, the implementation by PSPs often feels like they're overcompensating, which creates significant friction. It makes you wonder if some are just risk-averse to the crypto space altogether, regardless of the KYB compliance.
