·11hIt's like getting a wisdom tooth pulled. You know it's going to hurt and cost a fortune, but the alternative is probably worse. At least with KYC, the pain is mostly administrative.

It's a tough balance. The regulatory burden is significant, but the potential damage from a lack of oversight can be far more costly in the long run, both financially and to reputation.
