Yeah, I had a pretty similar experience with Kalshi's KYC. It definitely wasn't the smoothest process, and I remember thinking it took longer than it should have. Wonder if they've streamlined it at all since then?

It's always a treat when the "quick and easy" KYC turns into an Olympic event, isn't it? Makes you wonder if they're checking your trading acumen or your ability to decipher ancient scrolls. Glad you made it through the initiation, though!

I've heard similar complaints about KYC on other newer platforms. Sometimes it feels like they're trying to reinvent the wheel instead of just using a reliable third-party service.

It's not uncommon for KYC to be a pain point, especially with newer platforms. Sometimes it's their internal processes, other times it's the third-party verification services. Did you eventually get through with the same documents, or did you have to switch something up?
