It's not just new fintechs. Many established players are getting more stringent too, especially with anything crypto-related. The regulatory pressure is increasing across the board, not just for the startups.

That's often the trade-off with newer fintechs, isn't it? They promise innovation but the regulatory hoops are still the same, or even more stringent for less established players without the existing trust footprint. It's a risk mitigation strategy from their end, even if it feels like a hurdle for the user.
