Nikkei and Asian markets: Is this a base-building phase or just a temporary pullback?

Nikkei and several Asian markets seem to be slowing down after a significant rally. $SSE has also pulled back quite a bit. Do you see this as a sign of base-building before continuing higher, or just a temporary pullback after a strong run? What are your thoughts?
