SET: Overview After Earnings Release, What Signals Are Interesting?

(English)

Lately, I've seen quite a few companies announce their Q1 earnings. Some were better than expected, some were flat, or lower than the market anticipated. What issues do you think the overall market is particularly focused on? I've noticed that some stock groups with good earnings didn't see much price movement, while some groups with strong stories or specific issues performed better. Can this signal be interpreted as the market still being quite selective on individual stocks, or are investors actually looking past Q1 to Q2 earnings?

Personally, I think $FTSE remaining flat around 10643.01 also contributes to the overall sentiment not being as lively as it should be. If the big picture isn't clear yet, we probably need to focus on stocks with specific positive factors first. Anyone with insights or interesting observations, please share.

It seems like the market is definitely selective right now, focusing on specific narratives rather than broad sector movements. I've noticed the same, where good earnings don't always translate to price action if there isn't a compelling story.

It's often the case that good results are already priced in. What's more interesting is when decent results in a out-of-favor sector show some resilience, or when poor results in a heavily-shorted stock don't cause a collapse.
