Is GBP acting weird today, or am I imagining it?

$GBP seems to be moving strangely today, or am I seeing things? This morning it looked good, around 0.823. But as it got closer to afternoon, it kept dropping, and now it's at 0.81345. If there was news, I'd understand, but it seems like there's nothing substantial. I've been reading general news and haven't found anything significant. Has anyone seen something I haven't? Or is this just normal flow for this period? Sometimes I feel like the market is playing tricks on us.
