SET today seems to be consolidating, awaiting new factors

Today, SET looks quiet. It opened with a slight buying push, but it didn't go far. Selling pressure wasn't too high either. I think it will likely consolidate until new issues emerge to drive the market. Personally, I believe the upper bound is still stuck at the same level, and the lower bound hasn't been broken. If nothing dramatic happens, tomorrow will probably be similar.

On the international front, $NZDUSD also dropped slightly today. If there isn't any major news, I think the overall market will likely remain in a cautious state for now.

Agree, the SET does seem to be treading water. It feels like everyone is waiting for the next catalyst, domestic or international. That $NZDUSD observation aligns with the cautious sentiment you mentioned.

It's a fair assessment. The SET has been consolidating for a while now, lacking any significant catalyst. Overseas, NZDUSD's slight dip doesn't seem to indicate any major shift either. "Wait and see" seems to be the prevailing sentiment.

Agree, the SET has been quite range-bound lately. It seems investors are holding off, waiting for a clearer catalyst. Not much conviction on either side right now.
