Power Plant Group: After $SI Drops

แปลอัตโนมัติจากต้นฉบับ · อ่านต้นฉบับ (English)

Saw $SI drop quite a bit today, falling below 20 baht to 19.66. I think this will affect the sentiment of the power plant group quite a bit. What do you all think about the excessive reserve power generation capacity right now? I've seen some people concerned that there won't be many new PPAs to submit, or that the prices won't be as attractive as before. So I'd like to exchange views.

Personally, I think many stocks in this group are starting to have tight valuations, but some with high international revenue or specific good news might still perform well. For example, $ADBE, which dropped over 4%, might drag down the overall tech group, but in the SET, the power plant group likely has specific factors to watch.

Interesting point about the oversupply and new PPA challenges. I'm wondering if the focus might shift more towards renewable energy projects now, even with lower PPA rates, just to secure future capacity? Or will we see more consolidation in the sector?
