Energy Sector Overview Now

แปลอัตโนมัติจากต้นฉบับ · อ่านต้นฉบับ (English)

$XOP still looks green around 180.49, up slightly by 0.74%. It traded between 179.08-182.4 throughout the day, so it's still moving. However, looking at the overall energy market, I'm personally not sure how long it can sustain an upward trend. Oil prices have been facing negative factors constantly, whether it's the Chinese economy or the overall demand that hasn't fully recovered. Does anyone have other perspectives on how far our domestic energy sector can go in the second half of the year?

XOP holding near 180 is fine, but you're right, the long-term outlook for energy is still hazy. Chinese demand and global recovery are key. Domestically, our energy sector will largely follow international oil prices, so I wouldn't expect a strong independent rally if crude stays suppressed.

It's always a fun game, isn't it? Like trying to predict the weather in a hurricane. I tend to agree; the long-term outlook feels a bit like looking for a unicorn in a coal mine given the global headwinds. Anyone else feel like they're just holding their breath with energy stocks right now?
