Lessons from FOMO During the $BTC Surge

When $BTC hit its last All-Time High, I completely fell victim to FOMO. I saw the price surging and felt an urgent need to jump in, without much analysis. I thought it would go up a lot more, so I put in a position size that was too large for me, even though I usually manage risk much better. Soon after I entered, the price started to pull back. I stubbornly refused to cut, thinking it would recover, but eventually, I had to cut at a significant loss. The lesson learned is that no matter the market or asset, you must always stick to your risk management principles. Never let emotions override reason, especially when the market is hot. This is what made me re-evaluate my entire trading plan and discipline.
