Headache with new PSP's KYB/AML

I'm currently looking for a backup PSP because my main one is starting to be difficult about fees and speed. But starting the KYB process with the new one is really frustrating. It's not just about the amount of documents, but it extends to in-depth data verification that sometimes makes me wonder what it has to do with my business, and it takes so long that I've already missed some opportunities. I'm not sure if anyone else in the forum has had a similar experience, or if anyone has found a PSP with a smoother process. Any recommendations would be great. I don't want something so easy it's suspicious, but something reasonable.
