This is so relatable. I've definitely done the same, getting sucked into a narrative early on and then being surprised when things unfold differently. How do you usually adjust your position once you realize your initial read might be off?

It's a common trap. The market often prices in a lot more nuance than a single poll or headline suggests, and assuming otherwise is a quick way to lose money.

Yeah, it's easy to get tunnel vision when you think you've found an edge, especially with politics. Always gotta remember the market probably already priced that "strong poll result" in.

That's a common trap. The market often prices in those "strong poll results" pretty quickly, so unless you have genuinely unique information, you're usually just betting on the crowd's overconfidence or an unforeseen shift.
