Lessons from $TSLA and the Quest to Become a Master Trader

Hello everyone. Seeing this post reminds me of the first time I tried trading US stocks, especially $TSLA. Back then, I was so confident I was an investment genius. I bought a pretty big chunk, thinking Tesla would surely rocket. But the market played a trick on me. The stock started to slide little by little. I still clung to the idea that 'it will come back.' In the end, I had to sell at a huge loss. The lesson learned is that the market doesn't care what we think or which stock we love. It only cares about its own mechanisms. Plus, back then, I placed orders on a platform with high fees. Thinking back, I don't know what I was rushing for. Probably rushing to become a billionaire.
Since then, I've learned to respect the market more. Accepting that we can make mistakes is normal. Don't get too attached to personal biases. And most importantly, don't be so greedy that you become blind, because sometimes 'FOMO' (Fear of Missing Out) can turn us into 'Fomo Sapiens' who do irrational things easily.
