Lessons from the Philippines last year - when you miss the timing and don't accept it

I remember mid-last year, $PSEi was rising quite well. I kept waiting for a clearer "pullback", thinking I'd get a better price, but it never came. The price kept going up, and I started feeling like I missed out, so I decided to chase at too high a price. As expected, the price corrected sharply not long after. The lesson is, sometimes waiting too much for the "perfect" timing can make us miss good opportunities, or worse, lead us to make mistakes in the end.
